I wait, giving time for paint to dry.
When I paint on canvas I happen to paint few other “improvised” works on paper and other material. Sometimes they are so spontaneous and loose. I wholeheartedly welcome all of them. Because I never throw them away, I’ve already got a huge pile of papers, and other painted stuff, not belonging to anywhere. Unnamed. Unidentified painted objects. I never try to judge them as good or bad. Sometimes they take far too longer than the “main” painting to be finished.
The composition of the first and last pictures is great – very mellow in one sense but also stimulating – a nice balance.
Thank you for looking at them so closely Peter.
Ooh, very nice — the first one especially draws me in :)
Thanks :)
Now I am thinking of redoing something like that on canvas.
You have great variety but your style still remains so distinctive.
Thanks MiKell
I wonder if you have a preference as to which you like the most? I find that when I “just doodle” or warm-up, amazing things can happen that are difficult to replicate when I am set to “paint”.

Hi Anna,
Yes I agree, most magical things happen when you stop controlling, planning and expecting. I prefer that way better :)
