Hello again!!!

Hello friends, I was away for too long, having a difficult time (It wasn’t a “break” at all!) Had to deal with many unpleasant things. However, here I am, making a comeback, probably having nothing interesting or new to post.

This is one of the oldest paintings I have at home. Probably the first painting of my Flower Series. Painted on a ceiling sheet! Those days, I was in love with this type of material (cement, tiles etc) but soon realized it will cause a pain in the neck because they are so heavy! Almost impossible to sell or move. But still I do paint on wood, which is less heavy of course.

And, I have some recent drawings that I hope to share next time.

This is probably the final painting of my Flower Series. But I haven’t posted some of the previous paintings yet. I will upload them to my website as soon as possible.

Oh and I did some minor updates and redesigning on my website. Now this LJ can be viewed from there too. :)

Flower in the dark

Another painting from Flower Series. This one is more abstract, mystic and dark. It has extremely thick layers of paint on it, which made it rather heavy :-D . Though this is NOT one of my favorites, I’m going to share it with you.

I won’t be around LJ next two days. I have to prepare for a seminar that I am supposed to be attending next weekend and there’s a cricket match that I badly want to go and watch :-) Be good and I’ll see you in two days.

Flower and the moon

This one belongs to a series of paintings that I call Flower series.
I’m feeling nostalgic about these paintings since I’m not doing this series anymore; I’m currently doing some landscapes with a more “realistic” touch. But I feel like going back to this set and rework a bit.

Will post my recent landscapes when I manage to get hold of my photographer. It is bit annoying when you have to depend on someone else to take photos of your work. Any recommendations for a good digital camera for this trype of work? I’m looking for one, then I’ll do it myself.
